Presentations of the #EUaudit2017 Annual Reports by the ECA Members

The European Court of Auditors (ECA) published the ECA Annual Report 2017 — #EUaudit2017 on 4 October. On the same day, ECA President Klaus-Heiner Lehne and Lazaros S. Lazarou, the ECA Member responsible for the annual report, presented the report to the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT).

Now ECA Members are presenting the report and its conclusions and recommendations to the oversight authorities and media in different Member States. Updates and more information will be available here and on the ECA website.

In addition, Mr Brenninkmeijer presented the Opinion on the European Monetary Fund, the briefing paper on the Multi-annual Financial Framework, and the Special Report on the preventive arm of the stability and growth pact.

ECA Member Annemie Turtelboom visited the Belgian Court of Audit (Rekenhof/Cour des comptes) to present the ECA’s 2017 Annual Report and discuss potential areas of common interest in the field of audit with Philippe Roland, First President of the Court of Audit, Hilde François, President of the Court of Audit, as well as two other members of the College, Counsel Franz Wascotte (Liaison Officer) and Counsel Vital Put.
